New Software Helps Faculty and Staff Track Students’ Progress

Elizabethtown College LogoFrom Lancaster Online:  “Elizabethtown College recently introduced software aimed at encouraging more communication between faculty, staff and students. The software, called Starfish, lets faculty and staff view students’ progress toward academic goals and allows them to intervene when students are struggling, according to Michelle Henry, Starfish and student information system coordinator.

The web-based program was introduced to first-year students over the summer, and 96 percent of the class, or over 750 students, have used it, Henry said. Sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students also can access the software.”
